The Most Important Role – Backbone at Ground Level

The Farmer Welfare Officer is the most crucial position in the project, working directly with farmers at the village level.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Form a group of 20 farmers in each village (Farmer Society)
  • Conduct monthly meetings with farmers
  • Educate farmers about organizational schemes and benefits
  • Collect and maintain farmer data records
  • Assist in insurance, loans, and subsidy applications
  • Organize agriculture training programs
  • Provide information about government schemes
  • Facilitate distribution of agricultural machinery
  • Ensure availability of seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides
  • Support education and scholarships for farmers’ children
